I haven’t gushed about a film in a long time, but after last night I just can’t seem to stop singing praises for Clint Eastwood’s Gran Torino. I saw the trailer back in December, but I just got around to seeing it. Clint Eastwood, at 78, definitely still has it and he proves it in Gran Torino as actor, director, producer, songwriter, and singer.
And one has to wonder why a film of this caliber like this wouldn’t even get a nomination from the Academy? Could it be Clint Eastwood is a staunch Republican?
